President Sean Williams (pictured here in a sombrero) announced to the club Feb 25th that he will be relocating to Hermiston. He has decided to resign the presidency due to the difficult commute and trusting that the club has capable and willing former club officers to take the reins until Beth Stewart takes over July 1.
The sombrero is symbolic of the club’s last several months planning for the Enchilada Feed Fund Raiser and Sean’s involvement and support in the process. It has been a busy reorganization year for Sean and much has been accomplished under his leadership.
Eric Laurence and other past presidents will help with running the club meetings and Beth Stewart will take care of Board business until July 1.
Thank you Sean, for your service and friendship to the club. May your pursuits in Hermiston and career goals find you in a new club and job site soon. We say “Hasta Luego,” (see you later) because we know our paths will cross again as we retain our fellowship through Rotary.
